Playdough is fun, super squishy, and can be made easily at home with your kids! Continue reading to see what you'll need and how to make it.
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- Food coloring (optional)
- Mix flour, salt, and water in a bowl.
- Add more water if the mixture becomes too dry.
- Add more flour if the mixture becomes too sticky.
- Add a few drops of food coloring for a little color.
Store playdough in the fridge in a container or plastic bag for up to two weeks. Make sure the kids wash their hands before and after playing to limit the spread of germs to and from the playdough.
While this playdough is made from pantry staples, remember to supervise your child as they play. If you are concerned your toddler may be unable to play with playdough without putting it in his/her mouth, waiting until your child is a little older to make homemade playdough is also a good option.
